Video: Drunk woman falls onto tracks, almost run over by subway train
-
(from dailymail.co.uk) This is the chilling video that captures a drunk woman's brush with death after she fell on to the tracks of an underground station into the path of an oncoming train. CCTV images capture the woman falling off the platform onto the tracks before horrified bystanders at Boston's North Station shortly before 11pm on Friday night. As the lights of a train can be seen approaching, the bystanders can be seen frantically waving to the driver in a desperate attempt to get her to stop.

To those who don't think that the conductor should be called a hero, jump on the train tracks in front a train operated by a black female conductor and if she should happen to stop the train before splitting you in half, you would call her your God. You act like stopping a train is like stopping a bicycle. Have you ever been called a hero of something? Do you even know what it means to be a hero? Everyone involved that day are heroes, in saving that lady's life.

She admitted she was not going that fast. I don't think stopping a train makes her a hero. When you see so many people waving their hands, the natural thing to do is to stop (no cause for panic.)

I disagree. She had to act fast. A lot of people would panic or go into shock. She had good reflexes. Do you know how fast those trains are?

They say the train operator is a "HERO"...I disagree. All she did was stop the train because she could see all the bystanders waving their hands- a clue that something is wrong. Stopping a train doesn't make one a hero- takes a lot more to earn that title!
